Hemp is a resource saving plant whose long lasting fibres have been part of paper production for centuries. Itis technically a weed, so it grows very quickly with little water and no pesticides or fertilizers. Growing a crop takes up less space than equivalent trees and it produces more pulp per acre than trees. Hemp is also biodegradable and virtually every part of the plant can be used.
