This Humpback Whale calf was playing around me for over an hour whilst his mother was close by. The sun was setting as I took this image and I chose to display it upside down to enhance the phantasmagorical effect.
 
This image was part of the series that was shortlisted for the Terry O'Neill Award in 2009.
